Community Achieves

Community Achieves is a MNPS school initiative, led by the district’s Support Services Department, to link students and families with community services and volunteers. Community Achieves, and especially McMurray site director and GWN board member Courtney Artis, facilitates our in-school after-school programming in Title I MNPS.

Elfenworks Foundation operates In Harmony with Hope and aims to foster hope by any means possible. They generously provide funding for our All-City Artists Guild’s annual studio session which produces our annual compilation album and a rare and empowering pre-professional experience for our hardworking longtime participants.


d’addario foundation

D’addario Foundation champions positive change through music. We’re proud to be one of their many nonprofit education partners and applaud their Music Education for Girls Initiative.



Segment is a San Francisco, CA-headquartered tech company that provides the customer data infrastructure that helps business put their customers first. Every Friday they make a donation to a nonprofit organization nominated by an employee.



Gannett Foundation/USA today Network

The Gannett Foundation is a corporate foundation sponsored by Gannett Co., Inc. Through its Community Grant Program, Gannett Foundation supports nonprofit activities in the communities in which Gannett does business. Girls Write Nashville is a 2019 recipient of a Community Thrives Operational Grant to fund the 2020 Expansion of our Satellite Guild programming which tripled the number of girls we are able to serve.



Morris is a Nashville, TN-headquartered premier audio and lighting provider and installer, working with clients across the globe. They are huge supporters of the Girls Write Nashville mission, providing a variety of invaluable support and services.


guitars 4 Gifts

Guitars 4 Gifts has a mission to help connect people through music by providing instruments to underserved groups. They provide quality free instruments to Girls Write Nashville for our Guitar Grants. Any student participating in Girls Write Nashville who does not have access to an instrument can apply to receive a free Guitar Grant.


fanny’s house of music

Fanny’s House of Music in East Nashville has made it their mission to be Nashville’s most comfortable music store. They believe everyone has the ability to be musical and shopping for an instrument should be a relaxed experience. Nashville Scene readers regularly vote it the Best Place to Buy a Used Musical Instrument. As a woman-owned business, they are huge supporters of local nonprofit music-initiatives, especially those that empower girls and women.
