DONORS

Your contributions help us empower expression, one youth artist, one community at a time.

To all of our donors — thank you! Our songs exist because of you.

Donor spotlight — Dann sherrill

I wanted to donate to Girls Write Nashville because I want to support the work of organizations that help to inspire, nurture and empower girls in the musical arts.

For whatever reason musical arts education has been steadily and severely diminished in our public schools over the last half century. So it falls on private sector, not-for-profit groups like Girls Write Nashville to step in and provide this vital experience to our young citizens of Davidson County.

The craft of songwriting is not merely a vehicle for self-expression but through it, girls will develop social skills like collaboration, compromise, and how to sell ideas. This is such a great concept!
— Dann Sherrill
